Counselling Help Available On Call

April 17, 2018

The movie Indian Horse is making quite an impact. It provides a honest look at the residential school experience for many First Nations people. Although it is very positive to have mainstream Canadians really understand what happened, it can be very triggering for people  who have been impacted.

Thankfully, 24-hour help is available! If you, or someone you know is triggered after viewing the the movie, please let them know that there are safe and confidential 24 hour phone numbers staffed with professionals to call. These crisis lines are open for any kind of crisis, so keep this list bookmarked in case it is ever needed.
