This month we celebrate Indigenous caregiver families and out-of-care providers who open their hearts and homes to children and youth.
Foster care is a vital service that provides a safe space for children to grow without fear of abuse or neglect. Each day foster parents continue to balance the unique needs of the children and youth they are caring for, while upholding important connections with their families and communities.
The CSFS Resource program recruits and provides ongoing support to the unique needs of caregivers of Indigenous children and communities. The program also provides adequate training for caregiver families to ensure that they can confidently deliver the best possible care and services.
