CSFS Announces Winner of Car Raffle Benefitting Emergency Fund

Carrier Sekani Family Services (CSFS) is thrilled to announce the winner of our recent car raffle and share the incredible impact of this community-driven initiative.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we raised over $59,000, which will go directly to our Emergency Support Fund. This fund provides urgent assistance to clients from our member nations who are facing unexpected emergencies.

The lucky winner of the raffle is R’yder McKay from Vanderhoof, who will be driving away in a new 2024 Ford Escape. This exciting event was made possible through the dedication of our raffle committee and the support of our ticket purchasers and CSFS staff who helped sell tickets.

"We are proud to have been part of this initiative. The Emergency Support Fund is a lifeline for those in crisis, and this raffle demonstrates the strength and generosity of our community," says Kyle Parker, CSFS Chief Director of Legal Services and member of the raffle committee.

This raffle was made possible by our partners at Prince George Ford, who donated the vehicle.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and helped make this fundraiser a success. Your contributions ensure that help is available when it matters most.
