Fill out the referral here and email it to awhitely@csfs.org, or drop it off in person at any CSFS location.

About the Program

The Maternal Child Health Program supports Indigenous families during pregnancy and the early years of parenting. We provide practical information, connections to resources and one-on-one support to help caregivers feel informed, supported and confident as their children grow.

Eligibility

  • Indigenous pregnant people
  • Indigenous parents and caregivers of infants and children ages 0 to 6
  • Indigenous clients living both on reserve and off reserve

How We Can Support You

Prenatal and postnatal support: Support during pregnancy and after birth, including education and check-ins.
Medical advocacy: Support navigating appointments, services and health systems.
Child wellness clinics: Clinics are offered in collaboration with CSFS Nursing and the Early Childhood Development program.
Connecting families to community services regarding shelter and housing.
Outreach services: Help that meets you where you are, with flexible support options.
Developmental assessments: Assessments through home visits or clinic visits to support child growth and development.
