We provide this service within the Prince George area
Family Preservation (Housing) supports individuals and families in Prince George who face housing instability or other complex life challenges. Funded by the Urban Aboriginal Working Group and the Prince George Nechako Employment and Training Association, the program helps uphold the great law of sharing and extending support to those most in need.
A key part of this work is Healing Fire, a monthly gathering that offers smudging, drumming and a safe cultural connection point for community members. Healing Fire also raises awareness of the opioid crisis and the lack of affordable housing, while creating space for support and belonging.
You can connect with Family Preservation (Housing) in the way that feels most comfortable for you:
Support is voluntary, respectful and focused on meeting you where you are.
Tuesday and Thursdays from 3:30pm - 3:45pm at Carney Hill Neighbourhood Centre
