About the Program

Families deserve safe, supported time together, even during challenging circumstances. The Family Empowerment Supported Visit Program provides supervised visits that centre each child’s wellbeing and honour the strengths every family carries.

We create a calm, structured space where families can reconnect, practice positive interactions and strengthen relationships. Our team offers transportation for children, guidance for parents and culturally grounded supervision rooted in Nowh Guna’ — our way of walking with families.

Who This Serves

Children currently receiving support from child and family services
Parents and caregivers involved with the Ministry of Children and Family Development
Extended family members approved for supervised visits with children
Families working with Indigenous guardianship or delegated agencies
Participation requires an approved visitation plan and a contract created by a Ministry of Children and Family Development Child Protection Worker or an Indigenous guardianship worker
