Families can contact the program directly to book an appointment.
- Referrals are also accepted from physicians, nurses, childcare providers and social workers.
- Parent or guardian consent is required for all children.
About the Program
The Children’s Oral Health Initiative (COHI) supports early childhood wellness by preventing tooth decay and helping families create strong oral health habits from the start. Our COHI aide and dental hygienist work directly with families in Nadleh Whut’en and Stellat’en to offer screenings, fluoride treatments and hands-on education.
