Register for the Iceman Competition today

Hope you are planing to join us at our 2017 Ice Man Competition on Feb 3 at the Saik'uz band office and Feb 4 at the Burns Lake Band office. We will be getting together around 10am each day for a healthy eating talk and cooking demonstration by APTN's 'the Wolfman", health fair style booths and health testing inside and our Carrier Ice Man competition outside.

The Ice man competition will consist of racing while carrying wood on showshoes, then building a fire the fastest, cooking bannock (well) over your fire, rolling a snowball the fastest and then joining your teammates (or flying solo) to walk with your feet strapped to two 2x4s to the finish line. Its going to be a great time and there will be prizes for COSTUMES (yes! please dress up!) as well as for each event. The Ice man Champs will be the indivudal or team who wins over all in all areas. You wont want to miss this!
