Temporary Closure of Saik’uz Health Centre – Continued Services Offered at Saik’uz Band Office

December 5, 2023

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Saik’uz Health Centre (716 Patrick St Vanderhoof, BC) has been temporarily closed and is expected to reopen early in 2024. Our goal is to address and resolve the building issues promptly to ensure the safety and well-being of our community members and resume quality health services in the facility.

We want to assure the community that CSFS Health, Mental Wellness, and Maternal Child Health services are still being provided as before and are fully accessible, just from different locations. CSFS Health Staff are stationed at the Saik’uz First Nation Band Office (135 Joseph St, Vanderhoof, BC V0J 3A1) and CSFS Vanderhoof Administration Office (240 Stewart St W Vanderhoof, BC) and are continuing to work there with the utmost concern for privacy and health and safety protocols.
