The Carrier Sekani Family Services annual hockey tournament is back again in 2020. The theme of this year’s tournament will highlight mental wellness.
To keep things fun and eliminate the stress of trying to find a team or get a team together, the Winter Wellness Hockey Tournament is going to be a bit different than in previous years. Instead of registering your whole team, this time it is a draft tournament where players sign up individually and are drafted to a team for the weekend.
We are trying the new format in the hopes that it provides an opportunity for everyone from all communities to come together, meet players from other communities and play against friends.
Registration is free, and the team jersey is yours to keep. Registration is first come basis with the following guidelines:
· Players must come equipped with all hockey gear, including a CSA approved helmet.
· Players must be 16 plus years of age.
· Players must agree to the code of conduct including the event being alcohol and drug free.
A total of eight teams will play in the tournament, with a maximum of 16 players including a goalie for each team. That means a total of 128 players can register.
The CSFS Winter Wellness Hockey Tournament happens February 28, 29 & March 1 ,2020. Games will take place in both Fraser Lake and Vanderhoof arenas.

The second way to register is by using the online registration form. It’s easy – just fill in the blanks on your computer or device. There’s no need to have an account.
