Carrier Sekani Family Services (CSFS) is a not-for-profit organization serving 11 Carrier and Sekani Member Nations. For over 30 years, we have delivered health, social, family, and legal programs rooted in community leadership and self-determination.

Ways Your Donation Makes an Impact
Tachick Lake Healing
and Treatment Centre
CSFS has advocated for a permanent healing and treatment centre for more than 20 years.
The Tachick Lake Healing Centre will provide a year-round, medically supported, culturally grounded space for Indigenous people seeking support for substance use and recovery.
The planned 60-bed facility will combine clinical care with Carrier and Sekani healing models. Fundraising continues to support the construction and completion of this much-needed centre.

Youth Services
Your support strengthens programs serving youth ages 8–29 across Prince George, Vanderhoof, Fort St. James, Burns Lake, and the 11 Member Nations.

Sk’ai Zeh Yah Youth Centre (Prince George)
A seven-day-a-week youth centre providing holistic, low-barrier support for at-risk youth and young adults.

Foundry Burns Lake
Integrated youth services offering primary care, mental health support, substance use services, and peer support for youth ages 12-24.

Foundry Vanderhoof (In Development)
An upcoming centre expanding access to youth wellness services in Vanderhoof. Fundraising is currently underway to support construction.
Family and Community Safety
Dzee Ba’Yugh (Heart House) Safe Home – Burns Lake
A safe, confidential space for women and children fleeing family violence. The program provides trauma-informed, culturally appropriate services and can support up to six women and their children at a time.
Calls for Justice
The Calls for Justice Program supports safety initiatives and awareness projects along Highway 16 and beyond.
Donations support community-led projects, including signage, memorial installations, research initiatives, and safety advocacy, in partnership with the Highway of Tears Governing Body.
