Indigenous Human Services Program – Year 2 Cohort (Now Open)
Registration for the CSFS Indigenous Human Services (IHMS) Year 2 cohort is open.
Who Should Consider Applying
- Community members who completed IHMS Year 1
- Community members with a social services certificate or diploma who want to work toward a future BSW

Provincial Tuition Waiver Program For Youth In Care
The Province offers a $3,500 grant for certain programs at post-secondary institutions. The grant helps learners:
- Access short-term skills training
- Upgrade skills to support career growth
- Train for high-opportunity occupations
Many programs can be taken virtually.

Driving Lessons Support
CSFS supports community members working toward their Class 5 or Class 4 driver’s licence. Support may include lesson fees through:

- Six Nations Driving School

Indigenous Entrepreneurs Training Opportunities
Northern Entrepreneurs Accessing Training (NEAT) supports Indigenous entrepreneurs in northern BC who want to grow their skillset. Participants can:
- Access hundreds of topic-specific courses
- Learn at their own pace
- Build skills to support their business

Canada Learning Bond
The Canada Learning Bond (CLB) is money the Government adds to a child’s Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) for families with lower incomes.
- Receive up to $2,000 in CLB funding
- Apply as a young adult (ages 18–21) and receive retroactive CLB amounts for each eligible year

Nowh Guna’ Cultural Competency Training
Nowh Guna’ training shares Carrier cultural teachings and helps people build the attitudes, knowledge and skills needed to provide culturally competent services. External service providers are welcome to register.

Communities can request group workshops that support wellness, learning and connection. Examples include:
