Professionals who work with Carrier First Nations people need specific knowledge, attitudes and skills to be culturally competent. Join us for our Nowh Guna culture training for an immersive and experiential learning experience with local knowledge holders and educators. Explore local histories and impacts of colonization, examine traditional European and Carrier world views, learn about carrier culture and customs, strategize how to address racism, and participate in a teaching all clans feast complete with traditional foods!
