June 14, 2022

Carrier Sekani Family Services, in partnership with Saik'uz First Nation and the City of Vanderhoof, will be hosting an Indigenous Peoples Day celebration on June 21st with special guests and performers.

The event will be taking place in the city of Vanderhoof. There will be a multitude of activities throughout the day at various locations, including the CSFS Vanderhoof Youth Centre, skate park, the Vanderhoof arena, and the ball diamonds.

There is something for everyone, including:

  • Musical performances
  • Face painting
  • Drum making
  • Beading
  • Games with prizes
  • BBQ lunch
  • And much more...

We're so thrilled to be joined by some amazing talents, including Joe Buffalo, who will be skating with experienced local skaters, as well as performances by Kym Gouchie, Dani Lion, Kin Balam, Saik'uz singer/dancers, and more.
