Telehealth ProgramCSFS currently has 4 videoconferencing stations located in Burns Lake, Prince George, Takla, and Vanderhoof. Our Telehealth Coordinator ensures that all health staff and community are aware of upcoming learning and training opportunities via videoconferences. In the 2011/12, we will have completed our Wide Area Network project, which will connect all 10 CSFS Health Centers on a common server and high-speed internet connection that will have the capability to roll out videoconferencing technology into each community. There is a vast potential in this project, which includes electronic medical records and Panorama for nurses' record keeping. By utilizing video conferencing technology we are better able to increase the support to those patients living in isolated and remote areas to better manage their health.
