Mental Health and Addictions ProgramThis program provides access to professional Mental Health counselors who provide holistic, culturally appropriate counseling for individuals, families and groups. Therapists are trained in providing community education in cooperation with each community to ensure quality information. We also provide services to off-reserve members in Prince George. The program recently expanded their services to include the Aboriginal Child and Youth Mental Health Program which provides services to children, youth and their families in the Bulkly Valley area. With one clinician and one support worker located in Vanderhoof, Burns Lake and Smithers, this program will support existing Aboriginal, and non-Aboriginal, programs in increasing the health and wellness of Aboriginal children and their families.
