Addictions Recovery ProgramThis program offers support to our members with addictions through cultural healing and Western therapies that are provided in a camp setting at our Ormond Lake campground, located on Nadleh Whut'en territory. The camp is utilized during the months of May through to early October and offers various programs. Some of our camp themes for the sessions will be: “Reclaiming Ourselves”, “Journey to Hope”, and “New Horizons”. The 3 Mobile Camps in 2011will be in Nadleh Whut’en, the Southside, and in Wet'suwet'en. During the off season, the ARP team travels to communities to provide workshops and other support services to communities when requested. The Addictions Recovery Program is fully accredited by Accreditation Canada. The ARP is a great example of the integration of Tradition and Western treatment strategies, which is reflective of our program's vision statement: Culture is Healing. Contact Mary Hanna, ARP Lead
